Genuine community candidates
Our group formed out of a common interest, as each of us were challenging poor decisions at Council. All our candidates are genuine community-minded candidates. We’re free to make decisions for the community and free from the influence of major parties. Most importantly, we are not politicians but simply active, proud local community members.
We believe it is vital we give a voice back to the people and that decision-making is made by locals representing their community (not bureaucrats!)
At the Dec 4 2021 Local Government elections, we had 4 of our candidates elected as Councillors at Georges River Council. They are Christina Jamieson (Mortdale Ward), Peter Mahoney (Peakhurst Ward), Natalie Mort (Blakehurst Ward) and Elise Borg (Kogarah Bay Ward).
