Beverley Park Golf Club re-embraces the community and ditches fence project.
Elise led the community campaign against the Beverley Park Golf Course perimeter fence, leading to the Beverley Park Golf Club, now under fresh leadership and a new board, declaring its decision to abandon plans for the golf course perimeter fence.
This campaign was years in the making and Elise is now pleased that the club is now proactively re-engaging with the local community, fostering harmonious relationships.
Elise is dedicated to sustaining positive relations among the club, council, and community, so that the Beverley Park Golf Club is once again the social hub of Beverley Park.

With residents at the opening of the Sydney Water Water Health Improvement Program
Standing up for Parkside Drive & Johnston Ave residents in Kogarah Bay.
Residents of Parkside Drive and Johnston Ave in Kogarah Bay endured years of construction delays and challenging community consultations throughout the Sydney Water Waterway Health Improvement Program (WHIP).
However, Elise, in her capacity on Council, actively advocated for the concerns expressed by many residents regarding the final proposed designs. Her efforts prompted Sydney Water to genuinely listen to these concerns, resulting in significant changes to the final designs that better aligned with the community's preferences and needs.

Carss Park Pool
Elise's dedication to preserving Carss Park Pool began long before her election to Council, when she was an integral part of the core campaign team. Since taking office, Elise's advocacy has been pivotal in securing Council's commitment to rebuild the pool on its current site.
As the project progresses with demolition already underway, Elise remains deeply involved, collaborating closely with Council officers and the State Government through the NSW Office of Sport to ensure the successful delivery of the business case and design components, which is the first phase of delivering the new pool.

Georges River Council Sports Advisory Committee
Elise was instrumental in the creation of the Georges River Council Sports Committee which aimed to promote transparency and inclusivity in decision-making across all sporting disciplines. Through her leadership, the committee ensures that every sport has an equal opportunity to voice their concerns and ideas within the Council, fostering a fair and collaborative environment for all involved.

Improve traffic management at Princes Hwy intersections of Jubilee Ave & Park Rd
Elise was pleased to ensure funding was secured in the 2024/2025 Council budget so that Council can kickstart the process of investigation into improving local traffic flow (east/west) at the Princes Hwy intersections with Jubilee Ave and Park Rd.
Positive outcomes achieved for residents at Edward & Colvin Streets
In August 2023, I was pleased to facilitate a positive outcome for Edward Street residents regarding the installation of pram ramps at the Colvin Street intersection. Through on-site consultation with residents and Council’s traffic engineers, facilitated by me, we were able to provide the pram ramps while preserving existing parking.
Edward Street Traffic Investigation
Residents have raised concerns about traffic, speeding, and parking on Edward Street. I'm working with Georges River Council to conduct a comprehensive traffic study once the new residential building opposite Aldi is complete. This investigation will help Council propose solutions, such as traffic calming measures, a possible roundabout at Colvin Avenue, and adjustments to parking restrictions near Aldi.
